1Hosting Plans
Reseller hosting lets you sell hosting under your own brand. You receive a control panel to create accounts, set packages, and manage customers. Capnis handles the underlying server infrastructure, network, and hardware maintenance.
23VPS
Shared hosting places your website on a server shared with other customers — ideal for blogs, small business sites, and WordPress. VPS hosting gives you dedicated CPU, RAM, and disk with full root access, suitable for growing apps, e-commerce, and custom software.
A self-managed VPS gives you a virtual server with root/admin access. You are responsible for OS updates, security hardening, software installation, and day-to-day administration. Capnis manages the physical host, hypervisor, network, and hardware.
Partially managed VPS includes Capnis handling OS installation, network configuration, monitoring, and infrastructure support. You manage your applications, control panel (if installed), and custom software. Ideal if you want root access without full server administration.
Fully managed VPS includes proactive monitoring, OS patching, security updates, control panel management, and technical support for server-level issues. You focus on your website or application while our team maintains the server environment.
Capnis VPS instances run on KVM-based virtualization via Proxmox, providing dedicated resources, hardware isolation, and live migration capabilities. Each VPS receives its own virtual disk, network interface, and configurable CPU and RAM allocation.
Yes. You can upgrade CPU, RAM, and disk from your client area. CPU and RAM upgrades are applied promptly; disk upgrades may require a brief maintenance window. Downgrades for CPU and RAM are scheduled at reboot; disk downgrades require validation and possible migration.
Most VPS orders are provisioned automatically within minutes after payment confirmation. During high demand or custom configurations, provisioning may take up to a few hours. You will receive an email with login credentials once your server is ready.
We offer popular Linux distributions including Ubuntu, Debian, AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux, and CentOS Stream. Windows Server is available on select VPS and dedicated plans. You can reinstall the OS from your client area at any time.
Control panels such as cPanel, Plesk, and DirectAdmin are available as optional add-ons on VPS plans. You can also use free alternatives like CyberPanel, HestiaCP, or Webmin, or manage the server entirely via SSH.
After provisioning, use SSH (Linux) or Remote Desktop (Windows) with the IP address and credentials sent to your email. A VNC console is also available through the client area for out-of-band access if network or SSH configuration issues occur.
Yes. VPS customers can create snapshots from the client area before major updates or configuration changes. Snapshots let you roll back quickly if something goes wrong. Snapshot availability and retention depend on your plan.
Open a support ticket from your client area for the fastest response. You can also reach us via live chat during business hours and email for general inquiries. Fully managed and partially managed customers receive priority ticket handling.
For shared hosting, use your control panel's backup/restore tools or our free migration assistance on eligible plans. For VPS, migrate via rsync, SCP, or your preferred method. Our support team can guide managed customers through the migration process.
Shared hosting plans include reasonable hourly and daily sending limits to protect server reputation and prevent abuse. Bulk email and newsletters should use a dedicated email marketing service. VPS and dedicated customers can request higher limits.
Shared hosting includes automatic daily backups retained for a set period. You can also create manual backups from your control panel. VPS customers should configure their own backup strategy using snapshots, rsync, or third-party backup tools.
Yes. Shared hosting customers can restore files, databases, or full accounts from the backup section in cPanel, Plesk, or DirectAdmin. VPS snapshot restores are available from the client area. Contact support if you need assistance with a restore.
SSH access is available on select shared hosting plans and all VPS/dedicated plans. Enable SSH from your control panel and authenticate with your credentials or SSH key. Jailled shell environments protect shared server security.
Use strong passwords, enable two-factor authentication in your client area, keep software updated, install SSL certificates, and restrict file permissions. VPS and dedicated customers should configure firewalls, disable unused ports, and apply OS security patches regularly.
VPS and dedicated customers can view CPU, RAM, disk, and bandwidth usage from the client area service dashboard. Control panels also provide resource statistics. Fully managed customers receive proactive alerts when usage approaches plan limits.
Yes. Self-managed and partially managed VPS customers have root access to install any compatible software — web servers, databases, Docker, game servers, and more. Ensure your plan has sufficient resources for the workloads you intend to run.
Windows shared hosting is available on Plesk-based plans supporting ASP.NET and MSSQL. Windows Server VPS and dedicated options are also available for full Windows environment requirements including Remote Desktop access.
Many shared hosting plans include staging via control panel tools (e.g., WordPress staging in Softaculous or Plesk). VPS customers can create staging environments by cloning snapshots or setting up separate virtual hosts on the same server.
Unmanaged (self-managed) means you handle all software and configuration; Capnis supports hardware, network, and hypervisor only. Managed plans include OS maintenance, security patching, proactive monitoring, and server-level technical assistance from our team.
18Dedicated Servers
Capnis is a web hosting provider offering shared hosting, reseller hosting, VPS, and dedicated servers. We support cPanel, Plesk, and DirectAdmin control panels and serve customers worldwide with reliable infrastructure and 24/7 support.
We offer shared hosting on cPanel, Plesk, and DirectAdmin, reseller hosting on all three panels, self-managed VPS, partially managed VPS, fully managed VPS, and dedicated servers. Browse our hosting catalog to compare plans and pricing.
Yes. Shared hosting plans include free Let's Encrypt SSL certificates that can be installed automatically through your control panel. VPS and dedicated server customers can also request free SSL or install commercial certificates as needed.
Shared and reseller plans allow multiple domains and websites depending on plan limits. VPS and dedicated servers have no artificial site limits — you can host as many sites as your server resources support.
A dedicated server is a physical machine exclusively allocated to you — no shared resources with other customers. Dedicated servers offer maximum performance, customization, and control for high-traffic websites, SaaS platforms, and enterprise workloads.
A VPS shares physical hardware with other virtual machines but has guaranteed allocated resources. A dedicated server gives you the entire physical machine, including all CPU cores, RAM, storage, and network bandwidth, with no virtualization overhead.
Yes. Dedicated server orders can be customized with additional RAM, storage (NVMe or SSD), RAID configurations, and extra IP addresses. Contact sales or use the configurator on the order page for available options.
Basic network-level DDoS mitigation is included on all services. Advanced DDoS protection and traffic scrubbing can be added for VPS and dedicated servers handling high-profile or mission-critical workloads.
Billing and sales support is available during extended business hours. Technical support for managed services is available 24/7. Self-managed VPS and dedicated server customers receive infrastructure-level support around the clock; application support is self-service.
VPS and dedicated server orders are generally non-refundable after provisioning because dedicated resources are allocated immediately. Billing disputes and exceptional cases are reviewed individually — contact our billing team for assistance.
Additional IPv4 addresses are available for VPS and dedicated servers as paid add-ons, subject to justification and regional availability. IPv6 addresses are included where supported. Request additional IPs through a support ticket.
VPS and dedicated servers support any runtime you install. Shared hosting on cPanel and Plesk supports Node.js, Python, Ruby, and PHP via the control panel's application manager. Check your plan details for specific runtime version availability.
VPS and dedicated servers can be used to host your own customers under your brand. You manage billing and support for your end users. Capnis provides the underlying infrastructure. Reseller hosting plans are recommended for traditional shared hosting resale.
Most Capnis hosting plans have no setup fees. Some dedicated server configurations or premium add-ons may include a one-time setup charge shown clearly on the order page before checkout.
Shared hosting supports MySQL/MariaDB and, on applicable plans, PostgreSQL. VPS and dedicated servers can run any database engine you install — MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, and more.
Yes. Contact our sales team with your requirements — CPU, RAM, storage, bandwidth, OS, and management level. We will provide a quote for custom dedicated or VPS configurations tailored to your workload.
Our infrastructure is connected to high-capacity upstream providers with low-latency routing. VPS and dedicated servers include generous bandwidth allocations. Exact port speeds (1 Gbps, 10 Gbps) are listed on each product's order page.
Absolutely. Shared hosting supports WooCommerce, OpenCart, PrestaShop, and Magento on smaller catalogs. High-traffic stores benefit from VPS or dedicated servers for better performance, dedicated resources, and PCI-compliant SSL configuration.
14Domains and DNS
cPanel is widely used and beginner-friendly. Plesk works well for Windows and Linux workloads. DirectAdmin is lightweight and cost-effective. All three support email, databases, SSL, and one-click app installers. Choose based on your familiarity and application requirements.
Yes. New hosting customers can request a refund within our published money-back period if the service does not meet expectations. Domain registrations, SSL certificates, and third-party add-ons may be non-refundable. Contact billing support for eligibility details.
Search for your desired domain from our domain page or during checkout. If available, add it to your cart and complete payment. Domains are registered instantly and appear in your client area under Domains.
Yes. Unlock your domain at the current registrar, obtain the EPP/auth code, and initiate a transfer from your Capnis client area. Transfers typically complete within 5–7 days depending on the TLD and current registrar response time.
Log in to cPanel, Plesk, or DirectAdmin and use the one-click installer (Softaculous, WordPress Toolkit, or equivalent). Select your domain, set admin credentials, and the installer handles the database and file setup in minutes.
We accept major credit and debit cards, PayPal, bank transfer, and other region-specific payment gateways shown at checkout. Wallet balance can also be used to pay invoices and renewals from your client area.
Yes. Eligible shared and managed hosting plans include free website migration. Our team transfers your files, databases, and email accounts from your previous host. Submit a migration request ticket after ordering to get started.
Create email accounts in your control panel under Email Accounts. Use the provided IMAP/SMTP settings in Outlook, Thunderbird, or your mobile device. Webmail access is available at yourdomain.com/webmail or via the control panel link.
Update your domain's nameservers to the ones provided in your welcome email, or set an A record pointing to your server IP address. DNS changes can take up to 24–48 hours to propagate globally, though most updates are visible within a few hours.
Yes. All Capnis-registered domains include a DNS management interface in your client area. You can manage A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, and SRV records. External domains can use our nameservers by updating records at your registrar.
First check our status page or announcements for known incidents. Verify your domain DNS settings and SSL certificate status. If the issue persists, open a priority support ticket with your domain name, error messages, and steps already tried.
The client area is your account dashboard at capnis.net where you manage services, pay invoices, open tickets, register domains, configure DNS, access control panels, and view resource usage — all in one place.
Yes. Reseller hosting plans support custom nameserver hostnames (e.g., ns1.yourbrand.com). Register the nameserver glue records at your domain registrar and configure them in your reseller control panel.
After payment, check your email for a welcome message with login credentials and getting-started instructions. Log in to the client area to access your control panel, configure DNS, install applications, and open a ticket if you need onboarding help.
7Billing
Log in to your client area, go to Support → Open Ticket, select the relevant department (billing, technical, sales), describe your issue with as much detail as possible, and submit. You will receive email updates when our team replies.
Services are billed on a cycle you choose at order time — monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, annually, or longer. Renewal invoices are generated before the due date. Enable auto-renewal or pay manually from the Invoices section of your client area.
Overdue services enter a grace period during which your data remains intact. If payment is not received after the grace period, the service may be suspended. Extended non-payment can lead to termination and data removal per our terms of service.
Yes. Plan upgrades take effect immediately with a prorated charge for the billing period difference. Downgrades are scheduled for the next renewal date to avoid service disruption. Submit a plan change request from your service details page.
Submit a cancellation request from your client area under the service details page. Select immediate or end-of-billing-period cancellation. Data is removed after the service expires — download backups before cancelling if you need to retain your files.
Yes. Capnis offers a referral program that credits your account wallet when referred customers sign up and pay for eligible services. Find your unique referral link in the client area under Affiliates or Referrals.
Go to your client area, open the service or invoice settings, and enable auto-renewal. Ensure your payment method or wallet balance is sufficient before the renewal date to avoid service interruption.
5Security
Our infrastructure is hosted in secure, professionally managed data centers with redundant power, cooling, and network connectivity. Specific location details for each product are shown on the order page and in your service welcome email.
2FA adds a second verification step when logging in to your Capnis client area — typically a code from an authenticator app. Enable it under Account → Security to protect your account from unauthorized access even if your password is compromised.
Capnis follows industry-standard data protection practices. Our privacy policy outlines how customer data is collected, stored, and processed. Customers are responsible for GDPR or local compliance within their own hosted applications and content.
Send abuse reports to our abuse contact address with relevant logs, IP addresses, timestamps, and evidence. We investigate all reports promptly and take action against accounts violating our Acceptable Use Policy.
After the grace period following expiration, suspended services may be terminated and data permanently removed. Always maintain current backups and renew before the due date. Recovery after termination is not guaranteed.
